Qingdao Bright Moon Seaweed Group Co., Ltd., established in 1968, is one of China's earliest and largest comprehensive seaweed processing enterprises. We are able to manufacture such chemicals and food additives as mannitol, sorbitol powder and liquid, iodine, sodium alginate, potassium alginate, PGA, alginic acid, seaweed fertilizer and alginate mask.

Annual production capacity is 80 metric tons of iodine, 6, 000 metric tons of mannitol, 8, 500 metric tons of sodium alginate, 100 metric tons of propylene glycol alginate, 500 metric tons of alginic acid, 300 metric tons of seaweed fertilizer and 800 metric tons of seaweed feedstuff. Our products are widely applied in such industries as printing and dyeing, textiles, pharmaceuticals, foods, household chemicals, agriculture, paper making, and organic synthesis.

Following the development strategy of "people, science and technology", we have put great effort to develop our technical capabilities. We have ongoing cooperation agreements with academies and research institutes and are equipped with the latest seaweed processing lines. Our Technical Center was established in 2000, and is today one of the largest seaweed application and technical research centers in China. In recent years, we have partaken in several 863 projects, including industrialization projects and national research projects.
